DIY Baby Food Jar Hot Cocoa Snowmen

Do you have tons of baby food jars laying around? Wondering what you can do with them all? How about making some fun snowmen? If you don’t have any but would like to make these for your neighbors and friends you can get some here.

I love it when I can work on a craft and finish it in the same day. All too often I start something new and it ends up never getting finished.  These adorable little snowmen may take a little bit of planning ahead of time, so that you can gather enough baby food jars. But once you have all the materials they are very quick to assemble.

For this craft you will need:

Several clean baby food jars or buy some here.
Red Ribbon
Mini Marshmallows
Peppermint Candies
Hot cocoa mix
Black felt
Hot glue
Misc. Fabric scrapes
Black permanent marker
Orange permanent marker

Instruction:

Each snowman gets mini marshmallows for the head, hot cocoa mix for the body, and peppermint candies for the base. The scarves are made out miscellaneous fabric pieces I had laying around.  For the hats I cut 2 round disc out of black felt a large one (I think was 2 inches in diameter) and a small one (I think it was 1 inch in diameter), then I cut a rectangular piece of black felt and assembled them together with my hot glue gun to form a hat. The red band on the hat is red ribbon.
I used my trusty hot glue gun to glue each of the snowman’s body parts together and then added the scarf and hat and BAM! I had my neighbor gifts ready to go in no time!
I hope you found this tutorial to helpful.
